Munich Re Foundation’s work induces unavoidable CO2 emissions. The Foundation’s aim is to compensate for these emissions and to structure its activities as neutrally as possible. In 2006 the total emissions of the Munich Re Foundation amounted to 700 t of CO2. In order to offset our CO2 emissions we are supporting a Project in Eritrea focused on distributing the use of efficient cooking stoves.
