New Project: Climate Change and JusticeIndustrialized countries are mainly responsible for climate change, yet it is the poor in developing countries who are mainly affected by its impacts. Because of this injustice the Munich Re Foundation and the catholic relief organization MISEREOR jointly finance a study concerning the issues around climate change, justice and poverty reduction. The scientific study will be conducted by the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) and the Institute for Social and Development Studies (Institut für Gesellschaftspolitik IGP) at the Munich School of Philosophy.
