Dialogue forums: Munich 2030The forthcoming 2007/2008 dialogue forums will be the third series of discussions hosted by the Munich Re Foundation with the aim of increasing public awareness. The foundation intends to position the dialogue forums as a local brand, establishing itself as an active partner in the debate on "people at risk" in Munich.What will life be like in 2030? What socio-economic realities will we be facing? Will play areas be dismantled to make room for retirement homes? Will we be further victims of educational deprivation? And how will we cope with the expected changes?
A series of five evening discussions will address these and other important issues. The inaugural event “Munich 2030 – How will our cities change?” (in German) takes place on 7 November 2007 at 7.00 p.m. and introduces the audience to the 2008 dialogue forums.
