Climate neutral

The Munich Re Foundation has offset greenhouse gas emissions caused by the International Symposium 2005: „Worldwide disaster prevention - Awareness is the key".

The travel of the 100 participants caused about 62 tons of CO2. These greenhouse gas emissions were compensated. The compensation is achieved in the following carbon-offset project: „Clean electricity for rural population, India“ - Project No. 1003, carried out by the Swiss non-profit organisation "myclimate".
