Elizabeth Nalloor, Raigarh Ambikapur Health Association (RAHA), IndiaEducational Background Sr. Elizabeth Nalloor received her Post-Graduate Degree in Nursing from Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing, Delhi , India. She has done her Ph D in Community Health from Alma Ata UniversityShe has undertaken an extensive research work on Dots treatment in Tuberculosis, Ambikapur, Surguja. Experience Sr. Elizabeth Nalloor has five years experience of managing Rural Health Centers in West Bengal, after that she immersed herself in Nursing Education for tribal girls for which she was a Principal for 10 years. She is currently the Executive Director of RAHA and has several book publications in areas of School health, Village Health Worker Handbook, Herbal Medicines and Organic farming. Responsibilities As an Executive Director of RAHA, Sr. Elizabeth is the overall in charge of all the programmes undertaken by RAHA. After she took the charge as Executive Director, many new programmes has been started through her initiatives, such as Mitanin Programmes, Integrated Nutrition and Health Programme and Reproductive and Child Health, Eye Health, School Health, Herbal Medicines, Livelihood, Self Help Groups etc. In particular, the Medical Insurance Scheme has taken several steps to improve the enrollment rate and benefits since she took over as an Executive Director. |
