Pranav Prashad, ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co. Ltd., IndiaPranav took over as the Head for Rural & Agriculture Business in 2005 where his chief responsibilities include exploring business opportunities and expanding reach in the rural and agriculture landscape. He has implemented several projects towards financial inclusion and risk mitigation of the marginalised masses.
He has presented papers on Microinsurance at various national and international fora including 2 presentations at the 3rd International Microinsurance Conference 2007 organised by the Munich Re Foundation; to the Geneva Association in Geneva 2007; and at the seminar on Risks for Rural Communities at the Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue, Rueschlikon, Switzerland.
In a career spanning 20 years, Pranav has extensive Sales, Distribution, and Marketing experience in diverse industries ranging from Insurance to FMCG. He is a graduate in Economics from the University of Delhi and did his MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi. |
