The aim of this project was to supply the villages of the Eritrean highlands with water collected from fog. In spite of the project’s success conditions in the country currently prevent any further expansion of the project.

The other side features the portrait of fifteen-year-old Brenda, who works in Uganda as a youth counsellor. The poster was produced in cooperation with the Berlin Institute for Population and Development and the German Foundation for World Population.

“Climate expedition”, a project conceived by the German environmental and development organisation, Germanwatch, brings day-by-day views of the earth captured from space into the classroom. The Munich Re Foundation is supporting this educational initiative, which is designed to make young people more aware of climate change.
