Making insurance work for the poor

From 5 to 7 November 2008, the 4th International Microinsurance Conference took place in Cartagena, Colombia. This event was jointly hosted by the Microinsurance Network and the Munich Re Foundation, supported by Fasecolda, FIDES and the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia.

Over 450 microinsurance experts and practitioners from over 40 countries were in Cartagena to discuss the latest trends and developments in insurance products for the poor.

This report summarizes the main findings.
