Munich Re Foundation "2007 report" – From Knowledge to Action

Moving “From Knowledge to Action”, the Munich Re Foundation carried out ten projects in its third year. Environmental change was the major focus of political and public discussions in 2007. The Munich Re Foundation has launched a new project addressing global justice issues in the light of climate change. The projects for school pupils launched to promote sustainable action, another foundation concern, met with a great response. The foundation’s work in the field has also borne fruit, as demonstrated by the fog nets programme in Eritrea and the flood-warning system on the River Búzi.
