The 2026 Annual TAG Inclusive Insurance Conference will be held in Lusaka, Zambia from 26-28 May 2026, co-hosted by the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA), the Munich Re Foundation, and FinProbity Solutions. This flagship event convenes national, regional, and international leaders to explore how inclusive insurance can simultaneously drive financial performance, social impact, and sustainable development. This year’s theme, “Innovating for Inclusivity, Financial Performance and Impact”, reflects the urgent need for insurance solutions that are client-centric, commercially viable, and socially transformative. The conference will spotlight Zambia’s pioneering developments, including:

    • The enactment of microinsurance regulations and supervisory frameworks.
    • The launch of sandbox guidelines to foster innovation.
    • The first pilot of human-wildlife conflict insurance, addressing biodiversity and community resilience.
    • The ongoing dialogue on micro-pensions, expanding financial security for underserved populations.

Sponsors and participants will gain unparalleled visibility and engagement opportunities by aligning with these cutting-edge initiatives. The conference is not only a platform for knowledge exchange but also a catalyst for partnerships, investments, and policy influence across Africa and beyond.

    Conference design

This conference is a combination of high-quality training and plenary sessions aimed at sharing insights on how to make inclusive insurance profitable and viable. The conference package includes pre-conference workshops, networking events, conference panel sessions and a networking gala dinner.
