Harvesting drinking water from fog in Morocco

„Harvest fog“ – This very metaphorical expression became reality in Morocco: An innovative method allows to deliver drinking water from the air right into villages in the South-East of the country. Nets collect the fine drops of water from fog in the mountains. The water is then tested on quality, if necessary enriched with minerals and finally transported to the five villages in the valley.
