Germany faces the challenge of significantly reducing CO₂ emissions across a wide range of sectors in order to meet both national and European climate targets. The building and transport sectors in particular – how we heat our homes and how we travel – play a key role in this process, as they currently account for a substantial share of greenhouse gas emissions. At the same time, these sectors strongly shape people’s everyday lives.

Against this background, one question is becoming increasingly important: How can the transformation be designed in a fair, affordable, and sustainable way? What scope do consumers have to put these changes into practice? What social and economic policy frameworks are needed – and how can public acceptance of this transformation be fostered?

Join us, take part in the discussion with our panel guests, and ask your questions!
